As part of a programme of short films Naši junaki (Our Heroes) at the first Giro giro film event in Koper (Filmsko rajanje), a selection of the newest Slovenian animated films was screened that deal with Slovenian folk mythology, and are adapted in a modern form. The screening involved an active talk with a very diverse young audience, aged from 8 to 13 years. Some older children were especially invited to create a symbolic bridge with the younger ones, the way that folk tales make bridges between generations. The audience was also challenged to invent their own stories that they could imagine as folk stories.
