Young Programmers selected a set of films for the Vilnius Documentary Film Festival in Lithuania, presented the films to the audience of the Festival and contributed to the communication campaign.
From 10 films, Young Programmers chose the final set of 4 films and called their programme “Do I film you? Do you act for me?”. Young Programmers discovered creative documentary cinema and particularly valued original creative decisions made by filmmakers. Film topics were the second important their selection criterion.
Students worked closely with the Festival’s film programmers. They prepared film presentations and presented them to the audience, created a programme poster, and tried out other communication strategies. Young programmers valued the contact with film professionals during the Festival. 5 Film programmers have become the core of the film club of young people at Meno Avilys.
