Students Programmed a Selection of Films for Viewing with Families at the Summer Film CampHouse of Culture, Sv. Anton
Within the framework of the Summer Film Camp, we organized a special session of Young Programmers, where 9 participants between 11 and 15 years watched short fiction and animated films, out of which their task was to make selection for the audience of their peers, parents, as well as their co-participants, younger than 11 years.
The selection was comprised of several awarded author films from the region, as well as some unknown films from distant countries. In the end, they based their selection on fiction-animation hybrids, they chose 3 films: Rabbit and Deer, Good Heart, and Mr. Night Has a Day Off. They prepared posters with presentations of the films for the screening event.
For the closing of Summer Film Camp, we organized a special screening, to which we invited larger families of participants – parents, grandparents, and siblings. We screened the selection of 3 shorts films, made by participants as Young Programmers, as well as videos or short films made by the participants at the filmmaking workshop.
