Screening of documentary films at Cineteca

Specific sessions for schools and other young groups

Last week, the Cinema en curs Madrid groups of workshops atended the screening of four documentary films at Cineteca: 'Un giorno in Barbagia' and 'Pastori a Orgosolo' by Vittorio de Seta (1958), 'La souffleuse de verre' by Alain Cavalier (1991) and 'Glas' by Bert Haanstra (1958).

After the screenings rich dialogues were opened around the light and the hours of the day, the colours, the sound, the shots and the editing, the ways of filming the jobs, the emotion to discover places and jobs, the relation of each filmmaker with the people and spaces shot, the value of preserving memory and the singularity of the places and jobs portraied.

Participate students from CPEE Joan Miró (Madrid), CEIP Ntra. Sra. de la Fuencisla (Madrid), CEIP Juan Sebastián Elcano (Madrid), Colegio Montserrat – Orcasitas (Madrid) and IES Pedro Salinas (Madrid).
