On the 30th January, six groups of fiction workshops of Cinema en curs attend the screening of the film “The 400 blows” by François Truffaut (1959) at the Institut français of Barcelona.

The film is screened in 35mm and arrives at the movie theatre in 5 reels: 3.000 metres of celluloid! After the screening, a deep and sensitive dialogue starts about some of the essential questions of the film: the complexity of Antoine’s character, the end, the title, the emotional blows, the separations, the choices, the opened and closed spaces, the camera movements, the characters’ presentations, the black and white, the shooting equipment…
