Young Programmers collaborated with the biggest film festival in Lithuania. They were responsible for programming a set of films, presenting them online to the audience of the Festival and contributing to the communication campaign.

The group of eight students (17 to 19 years old) from Vilnius and Kaunas was looking for important and relevant topics and interesting forms of storytelling. From 15 films, Young Programmers chose the final set of 5 films, called “Young Programmers’ Choice”. The read thread of films is a strong personality who is not afraid to take responsibility of his/her live, to resist and to rebel.

Students worked closely with the Festival’s team. During the Festival young programmers presented their selected films virtually to the audience, wrote film reviews, made and interview with the film director Antonio Lukich (My Thoughts Are Silent), arranged social media content and tried out other communication strategies.
