Ein Filmprogramm von Jugendlichen

Ein Filmprogramm von Jugendlichen für ein junges Publikum kuratiert, hat in zweierlei Hinsicht besonderen Wert: die vertiefende Auseinandersetzung mit dem Thema innerhalb einer Gruppe von jungen Kurator*innen, und der innovative Weg ein junges Publikum auf völlig neue Art und Weise anzusprechen und für das europäische Arthaus-Kino zu begeistern.

Das Kuratieren von Filmen bedeutet für die teilnehmenden Jugendlichen, die zur Auswahl stehenden Filme aufmerksam zu schauen, die Arbeit und das filmische Werk des/der Filmemacher_in einordnen zu können, Bezüge herzustellen und zu überlegen, wie ein Film in der Öffentlichkeit präsentiert werden könnte: Mit verschiedenen Möglichkeiten, ihn zu begleiten, zu kommunizieren, seine Entdeckung und Wertschätzung zu ermöglichen. Bei der Entwicklung dieser Prozesse stellen die Jungen Kurator_innen eine ganz besondere Beziehung zu dem Kino her, das sie sehen und programmieren, und teilen es mit anderen jungen Menschen.

Jede Gruppe entwickelt eine eigene Arbeitsweise, die direkt mit der Art und dem Kontext des Programms verknüpft ist.
