Students from Vilnius Karoliniškių gymnasium participated at 4 sessions of interactive documentary filmmaking workshop held by two audiovisual media artists: Berta Tilmantaitė and Karolis Pilypas Liutkevičius (collective Nanook).

The inspiration for the workshop was the film Time Passes through the City (A. Grikevičius, 1966). The students watched the film and started developing ideas for their personal interactive documentary projects related to the topic of time and a city. In order to perceive a form of interactive documentaries in a deeper way they also watched examples of interactive online documentary projects (online films and photo stories). Later on, they worked on the story telling by photomontage. They grouped images together and explored the relation between different media (still and moving images, sound and text) corresponding to the topic of time and the city.
