In this third edition of cooperation between Moving Cinema and D'A Film Festival Barcelona we enlarge the range of the collaboration developing the Sala Jove, a new section of the festival specially devoted to the young public among 16 and 25 years old.

The section counts with 7 films, 3 creation workshops and a concert. Six of the films are selected by a group of Moving Cinema Young Programmers and two of the workshops are in the care of Cinema en curs filmmakers Meritxell Colell (Con el viento Facing the wind) and Alba Cros (Les amigues de l’Àgata Àgata’s friends).

Young Programmers also accompany and present the sessions and conduct the dialogues with the invited filmmakers and the public. The films programmed are As duas Irenes, Brothers, Everyone in Hawaii has a sixpack alreadyGrímseyHigh fantasy and Night is short, walk of girl. To these titles a carte blanche of film director Mar Coll is included. She chooses L’âge atomique, by Héléna Klotz.

The Sala Jove, opened to all D’A spectators, takes places from the 28th to the 30th of April at the Auditori of CCCB. To young people aged 16 to 25 years old are offered a pass to attend all the programmes and workshops.

Futhermore, Young Programmers also present Yo la busco, by Sara Gutiérrez, included in the section „Un impulso colectivo“ programmed by film critic Carlos Losilla. After the screening, they conduct a dialogue with the team and the attendees.
