On the 13th of June 2019 the film „Märkische Ziegel“ by Volker Koepp was presented in Union film theatre in Neuruppin. The screening was curated by students of class 8c of Alexander Puschkin secondary school. Before the students had been watching all three films of the series „Märkische Trilogie“ („Märkische Ziegel“, Märkische Heide, Märkischer Sand“ and „Märkische Gesellschaft“) and selected the first one for their presentation. Along with which they also presented their own documentary film „Der See ist unser Brot“ which they shot in the film education program cinema en curs – filmen macht schule, accompanied by filmmaker Sebastian Heidiger. After the screening the students, Sebastian Heidiger and Volker Koepp had a talk.
