Together with film director Živilė Mičiulytė, the students of Giedraičiai Antanas Jaroševičius gymnasium, Lithuania, embarked on a five-day journey – during the workshop, they scrutinized the cinematographic depiction of nature, especially trees. In terms of theory, they watched the excerpts of such films as Bridges of Time, by Audrius Stonys, ¡Vivan las Antipodas! by Viktor Kosakovsky, and Encounters at the End of the World by Werner Herzog. During the practical part of the workshop, the students carefully observed their hometown surroundings and created beautifully poetic short films.
