The Workshops combine reception and analysis of selected arthouse movies' excerpts in the classroom with practical exercises on filming. Based on this, the students do specific exercises with digital cameras and smartphones.They document spaces, weather and light conditions impressing them. In these exercises, often for the first time, the students engage with the aesthetic effects and the challenge of intentional artistic expression, discover mobile devices as an artistic tool for filmmaking and begin to observe their everyday reality with a different view.
