The 13th and 15th of April 2016 two screenings of 'The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner' by Tony Richardson were organized at Filmoteca de Catalunya for the highschools IES Vila de Gràcia (Barcelona), Institut Vallès (Sabadell), Institut Rafael Casanova (Sant Boi del Llobregat), IES Llobregat (L'Hospitalet de Llobregat) and Institut Margarida Xirgu (L'Hospitalet de llobregat). The sessions were conducted by Pep Garrido, habitual filmmaker of Moving Cinema workshops.
After the screening a dialogue with the participants was initiated. Some of the raised questions that were analysed were: the work with the characters, the music, the flashback and point of view, the editing, the reflection about social conflicts and individual decisions, and the British Free Cinema, the wave where the filmmaker Tony Richardson belonged to.
