International Day of Tolerance at Giro Giro Film 2019 – Moving Cinema

We are preparing the new Moving Cinema website for 2025

Izola's primary school marked the international day of tolerance (which is on November 16) during the Giro Giro Film - Film Days for Children, Families and Youth in Koper: we took the whole 3rd triad of Vojka Šmuc Primary School to the cinema.

On November 13, 2019, all of their upper-grade classes marked the international day of tolerance with the film, which raises many questions and gives floor to reflections on stereotypes, intolerance and prejudice. 280 viewers watched the film Girls Lost (Pojkarna, Alexandra-Therese Kierning, Sweden, 2016) during their school hours at Planet Tuš theatre hall. After a shorter talk they then returned to classes till the end of their school day to work on the film and the questions it opens in detail.
