Screenings and discussions at Vilnius Documentary Film Festival – Moving Cinema

We are preparing the new Moving Cinema website for 2025

Screenings and discussions at Vilnius Documentary Film Festival

Regular Sessions at Festival and Cinemas (outside School Hours)

17 Set 2015 - 24 Set 2015

Meno Avilys

Vilnius Documentary Film Festival, Vilnius

Students between 15 and 18 years old from different high schools attended to three sessions in the framework of Vilnius Documentary Film Festival in Skalvija Cinema Center.

The group of adolescents attended the three screenings of the Vilnius Documentary Film Festival from three different high schools of Vilnius. Meno Avilys contacted three teachers (active participants of the film education projects) and offered the opportunity to invite 5 students (from each school) to attend the three screenings of the Festival for a special price. Also, the students were invited to participate at the discussions after the screenings, which were led by a cinema critic. Students enjoyed the general public screenings. Also, they were more engaged in the discussions in comparison to the discussions after school screenings. The event took place in Skalvija Cinema Center.
