Young Programmers were responsible for selecting and presenting a set of films during the Vilnius Film Fest – Kino pavasaris 2019.

The group consists of eight young people from 17 to 19 years old from Vilnius and Kaunas (Lithuania).

Main criteria for young programmers in choosing films was to find topics that would be relevant among their peers and new, interesting forms of storytelling.

After watching 13 different films, discussions and meetings with the festival’s team, the group have chosen the final set of 6 films, called “Young Programmers’ Choice”.
