The Young Programmers group is responsible for choosing the film, introducing it before the projection and organizing and accompanying the subsequent dialogue with filmmakers and specialists.
They begin Friday, January 25th with Cravan vs. Cravan, Isaki Lacuesta's first film, which they will introduce before the screening. The session also includes the screening of Où en êtes-vous, Isaki Lacuesta?, his latest short film, made for the retrospective and the exhibition that the Center Georges Pompidou of Paris has recently dedicated to him.
The second session that the Young Programmers presented is Sans toit ni loi, a tribute to the cinema of Agnès Varda that, a few days before the projection, was at the Berlinale presenting his last and final film: Varda par Agnès. The session takes place on February 22nd with the theatre completely full.
The third session, very special, is included in the programming of the Sala Jove D’A of D’A Film Festival Barcelona: it’s the film Un violent désir de bonheur that includes a presentation and a dialogue with filmmaker Clément Schneider.
The last screening of the Moving Cinema Young Programmers is conceived with filmmaker Carla Simón who presents the films Llacunes that she directed in 2015, and Les mains négatives by Marguerite Duras; and shares materials of the creation process of her first long-length: Summer 1993.
