The Vilnius Short Film Festival, established in 2006, is Lithuania's only Oscar-qualifying festival and one of the largest short film festivals in the Baltic region. 

Held every January, it showcases the latest and most significant short films from around the world, featuring an International Competition and a National Competition for Lithuanian films.

The festival also offers special programs, including retrospectives, youth and family screenings, and country-themed selections. With industry events, networking opportunities, and workshops, it brings together filmmakers, professionals, and audiences.
