Teacher training is a central and strategic focus of A Bao A Qu.
It is a privileged space for the direct transfer of knowledge, methodologies, and resources developed through our core programmes: Cinema en curs, Fotografia en curs, and Creadors En Residència in Barcelona’s secondary schools.

Moreover, teacher training has an exponential value, as it impacts both their current and future students.

We structure training in three different fields:

• Specific programmes for the teachers who participate in the workshops.
• Courses and special programmes addressed to teachers who do not participate in the workshops.
• Training and counselling addressed to faculties of schools that want cinema to become a structural axis in their educational project.

The training programmes are based on methodological proposals for the viewings, analysis and commentary of the films, and for the development of the main processes of cinematographic creation: documentation, screenplay, shooting script, shooting, editing. They are complemented with resources to work the cinema in a cross-disciplinary way.
