In 2015, the Cinémathèque française joined the launch of Inside Cinema, an online space for discovering films through materials from the creative process.

The Cinémathèque holds an extensive collection of films, archives, and documents related to the history and development of film. In addition to its role as a museum and archive, it organizes screenings, festivals, and educational programs, and serves as an influential hub for both film professionals and cinephiles.

The Cinémathèque française integrated Moving Cinema in 2015-2016.
