Kino Istra or Cinema Istria is a travelling cinema of the Otok Institute, which visits around 14 towns and villages without cinemas located in Slovenian Istria with an excellent film and other cultural program for all generations. Kino Istra pays special attention to film-educational programs and visits primary and secondary schools and kindergartens in the region. Since 2023, Young Programmers from Kino Otok have been included into its programme as well.

Kino Istra started out in 2020 as a European project Movies in Motion, supported by the EU Creative Europe program and coordinated by Cinehill Film Festival (Croatia) to explore the role of cinemas as innovative cultural centers in local communities, and has since 2022 continued its mission as an independent Otok project.
