The Moving Cinema Young Programmers have the opportunity to be part of a Young Programming project: a week to discover how to understand and analyze contemporary cinema and program a film festival. Participants select a film that will enter the Official Competition Selection of the 17th edition of the Piccolo Grande Cinema Festival (November 9-17, 2024), while also taking care of the promotion of the film in theaters and the entire communication process. During the week, the Young Programmers together with Filmidee's young critics and the festival's Selection Committee see films and discuss them together, discovering strategies to promote contemporary cinema.
The campus is organized in cooperation with Young4Film.

The collaborative approach adopted by the project to engage young programmers is based on the original Moving Cinema methodology with the aim of developing a young and active film audience. The methodology is based on the basic idea of involving young audiences in organizing a screening within each of the festivals involved by making them Young Programmers, young film festival programmers.

The pre-selected films were:
- Chiennes de vies by Xavier Seron (Belgium, France, 2023)
- Guerra e pace by Massimo D'Anolfi, Martina Parenti (Italy, 2020)
- Five and a half love stories in an apartment in Vilnius in Lithuania by Thomas Vengris (Lithuania, 2023)
- Čuvari formula by Dragan Bjelogrlić (Serbia, Slovenia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, 2023)
- Volveréis by Jonas Trueba (Spain, France, 2024)

From these films, the Young Programmers selected Chiennes de vies by Xavier Seron (Belgium, France, 2023).
